Behind the Lens
I’m Joshua —the heart and lens behind Soul2Sole. My journey into pet photography began in a moment of darkness, following a traumatic attack that left both physical and emotional scars. During recovery, I found strength and purpose through the animals who’ve walked beside me my entire life—but especially through Jax, my soulful Boxer mix, who carried me through one of the toughest times I’ve ever faced.
Jax isn’t just part of my story—he’s part of my brand. You’ll find his spirit captured in the Soul2Sole logo, a reminder of the quiet strength and deep connection our pets give us every day.
As featured in Modern Dog Magazine, my work is rooted in healing, authenticity, and the unspoken bond we share with our animals. I use natural light and outdoor settings to capture pets as they are—loyal, quirky, soulful—and preserve the relationship you share without ever showing a face.
*A portion of every session supports local rescues, because I believe every soul deserves to be seen, supported, and loved.
